K, before I start, I'd like to point out I posted a small movie review of 2012 at the end.

So, i just made it through my test week, so I'm having better luck with more animation. My birthday is also coming up, so I'll be getting that new laptop and hopefully getting to work on more digital art. I'm sorry for not being active, but my computer is extremely tight on memory and one picture with too many layers could kill any remaining space I have
Basically, no uploads for the next month or so.. not like it matters much. I'll be more active posting updates on my YT channel

(2012):
Started okay, but lord, it got worse as it went on. I mean, that movie was pretty bad, in my point of view. The only good things were the CGI (which at some points was sloppy) and the soundtrack. Everything else just ruined the movie. In the ads, you've probably seen dramatic shots and cool lookin' stuff, but this movie is just filled with.. well, fillers! There is hope for action fans, as this movie is full of dramatic moments, but the plot is terrible.. the characters always manage to escape in the nick of time, and no one freakin' dies in the end!! A destruction movie, and like tons of people live! I mean, at least they could've killed 1 person from the main char's family, but they all manage to survive after dodging a nuclear ash cloud, flying through the tiniest cracks on a airplane driven by an amateur, and the list goes on and on. No scientific logic exists in this imaginary world either. And a lot of tense moments are filled with mushy and cheesy family/romance scenes.
Bottom line- see it if you must, but the only good thing about seeing it in the theatre is the sound quality (ie the loud bass and you can hear every sound effect clearly) but it's much better if you just save your money and rent it. I really don't see what's the hype about this movie, maybe it's just the marketing, but it's not as great as it seems :\
